Social media has become a huge chunk of our lives especially in the PR department and has given us the ability to know what is going through everybody's mind.
YES! Even about your new product which you launched a few weeks back. But most importantly
it has drawn us closer to certain brands that would not even take a second
look at us in the local grocery store or at the reception of their offices.
I have compiled a Top five list of social media influencers that
you should definitely follow just before you Instagram your fancy dinner.
Number 5 goes to "The Queen B", Bonang Matheba (Radio & TV personality, Fashion Role model, Mogul). Around her busy schedule, Bonang always knows how to make people
covet over her perfect life on social media. This Queen has such a large

My Number 4 is The One and Only Western Cape Premier Helen Zille. This may seem like a joke but this woman really does know how to influence large numbers through her intelligence and critics of current issues.Coming from the opposing party (The Democratic Alliance) Ms Zille knows how to persuade many through her vast knowledge in politics and her opinionated posts all over social media to lure us all into voting for her party even though it has caused so much drama in her life. https://www.facebook.com/HelenZille

Number 3 goes to The Big Dawg DJ Fresh (www.djfresh.com). Besides the Screenmunch saga he had a few years ago.HERE The Big Dawg is known to be one of the greatest social media influencers with no doubt. DJ Fresh is an international club DJ , Entrepreneur, Producer and one of the best Radio personalities in South Africa ; I think it might be because of his weirdly deep voice; He is on 5FM from 5:00AM-8:00AM keeping everybody awake on their way to school or work on Weekdays so, do so and catch him right after following him.
Since I have given out the first Top 3 Social media influencers in my opinion, feel free to let me know on how you feel about them and if you feel the same way as I do. I will continue with the countdown of the final two and feel free to guess who I have chosen to be the Top 2.
In my opinion number two should be Sizwe Dhlomo because of the influence he carriers on social media and his influence overall.

ReplyDeleteI'd like to agree with Sfiso. I personally follow Bonang and Sizwe on twitter and facebook and their interaction had really been amazing. I really don't think Helen Zille is a social media influencer.

On the other hand Gotlhe, I am glad that you voiced your opinion and thank you very much for doing so, I guess I may have my own reasons why I chose Ms Zille as she is part of the infamous opposing party, making her a very interesting target in adding to the PR development of a specific something.

Yet politics play a big role in South Africa and having the DA as the main opposing party, a lot of people do value her opinion and she has created a large movement on social media, you should maybe check it out and you will be able to understand my choice.
